With its bold, modern art and simple text of about words, this fresh new take on the story of Jonah is just right for babies and toddlers. Children will learn that God asked Jonah to deliver an important message, that Jonah ran away from God on a boat and ended up living in the belly of a big fish for three days, and that God rescued Jonah and forgave him. Outrage has erupted in Pittsburgh, PA related to the cancellation of a community theatre production of "Big Fish" due to a dispute between the creative team and producers over the inclusion of staging that would have featured gay male parents. For the upcoming production of the Andrew Lippa musical, during the number, "Stranger", the director wanted to include a gay male couple with a child among the ensemble interacting with Will while he's reflecting on being a future father. While the producers "compromised" with the director at first to allow the depicted couple, when the director wanted to include additional staging, producers balked. The dispute between the creative and producing teams led the director to resign from the production, followed by multiple cast members. Due to the fact that opening night was less than a month away and what the producers called a "campaign to disparage" their reputation, they decided to cancel the entire production.
Big Fish Creates the Next Gen Sim Experience: Announces Worldwide Release of Decurse
My favourite Broadway show, beyond compare, is Spring Awakening. More specifically, the Deaf West revival of Spring Awakening. The original Broadway production was beautifully written and staged, and uncomfortable in the sense that it makes you think about yourself and the world around you. The Deaf West version, however, blew away all my preconceived notions surrounding the musical. It is incredibly moving, outstandingly staged, and brought the beauty of the original to a new caliber.
Decurse is available now, worldwide for both iOS and Android devices. We took popular farming sim mechanics that people know and love, like personalization and customization, and set out to blow them out of the park — or barn! We re-imagined farmland as magical islands, livestock as a cast of kooky characters and gameplay immersed in a magical storyline, while offering players new ways to craft, build and express themselves inside the game.
